River North in June
This June I am making my debut in Chicago's River North gallery district, with not one, but two appearances - at Stephen Kelly Gallery and Judy A Saslow Gallery. Both galleries will host opening receptions on Friday, June 2, in conjunction with many other galleries in the immediate vicinity. A visit to any of the many restaurants and pubs in the area can round off a great night out, especially with the Chicago brown line stop in the middle of it all, and the Chicago red line stop just a few blocks east.

JUDY SASLOW GALLERY - SUMMERTIME
Judy A Saslow Gallery, at 300 W Superior, will feature Large Canvas No. 6 as part of The Summertime Show, a group exhibition in the theme of summer. Judy A Saslow Gallery showcases intuitive, outsider, self-taught, visionary, folk and ethnographic artworks, as well as contemporary works by established & emerging artists. Curated by Gallery Director Gabrielle Goodstein, the show features many talented artists who I respect and admire, including Jason Rohlf and Jen Garrido, former classmate Michael Wille, longtime member of my mailing list, Mark Crisanti, as well as many others. For more information and a full list of participating artists, please see the backside of the exhibition announcement, my Exhibitions page or Judy Saslow Gallery's website. The June 2 opening will last from 5-8pm, with many of the artists in attendance. The show continues through July 8.

STEPHEN KELLY GALLERY - LUSCIOUS
Around the corner at 750 N Franklin, Stephen Kelly Gallery will be exhibiting several of my larger canvases alongside the work of artist and gallerist Stephen Kelly Smith. The Stephen Kelly Gallery specializes in emerging and established artists, assisting new and experienced collectors in the acquisition of original contemporary abstract art. The exhibition, entitled Luscious, will feature rich, lusciously textured painted surfaces - mine in bold candy colors formed into strong, overlapping forms and Stephen's in dark hues hiding mysterious, shadowy figures. For more information, please see the backside of the exhibition announcement, my Exhibitions page or Stephen Kelly Gallery's website. The June 2 opening will last from 6-9 pm. The exhibition closes on July 7.

Photos of these exhibitions will soon be available on my exhibitions page, by clicking on the show name. Photos of past exhibitions are available now.
